Not sure if any of you DayZ players have seen this yet, but its basicly "the world's first survival mmo Zombie Game." It is remarkably similar to DayZ, but the devs say they had the idea before DayZ even existed.

It looks pretty good, nice screenshots and a gameplay trailer should be released soon (then it will be available for pre-order)

It's like bootleg version of dayZ. And the name is ridicilious reference to dayZ and they dare claim they never even heard of it? Yea right...
But it looks good thought.

They had the game ready to go into development before DayZ was even created, so they can't of copied.

This looks real nice, although I know they are turning DayZ in to a standalone game. And porting it to console.

Anyone going to be playing tomorrow in the alpha? Kinda can't wait to play a zombie survival game that isnt bug and hacker ridden as DayZ Tongue

It's supposed to be a mod of the game WarInc (http://www.thewarinc.com/) free to play shooter, basically modded it with zombies and now selling it. Taking the idea from DayZ.

Thats ridiculous. Pretty much every game out there uses an engine they have used before. If you have something that works, why change it? If game company's made a new engine for each game it would take years to develop.

And on the topic of copying DayZ. Copying in game industries is good, it create a competitive market and variety.

WarZ is a still a different game to DayZ. WarZ being a more casual zombie game where as DayZ is a Hardcore survival environment.

EDIT: Just noticed its Rhinocrunch's video. He's basicly a massive mongoloid.

Just watched this video... the game elements sound so arcadey, not really the kind of I'm game I'm into, but I can see the appeal. It's the not-so-serious version of DayZ imo.

Pretty much exactly what it is. Same survival aspects as Days, without the military simulation.

That's why I'm going to get both (Wars and Days standalone).

Not sure who he is, just came across the video while searching for War Z gameplay. And the resemblance to the game he compared War Z with is an exact match.

I've got it, although its development is slightly worrying. The game is about to go into beta and we still haven't got half the features that are meant to be implemented, And only 30% of the map. Apart from that it is quite a fun game. Like you said, very similar to DayZ, just without the hardcore-military-sim-survival aspect Smile
