Hes going to try go supersonic while free falling. Never been done before.

So basically first man to free fall at supersonic speeds.

There have been a few though almost equal height and almost equal speed, I believe the actual records do still date the mid '60s. The thing is quite spectacular, yes, especially with up-to-date camera systems, but he's not that kind of pioneer the newspapers trying to make him.
