Excel SUM Help
Hi guys.
Basically, im having trouble with one of the most basic forumlas in excel lol ![]() Right, ive got in a column a list of numbers which are made up from a formula inside each cell. When i go to do =SUM(G3:G52), it returns 0 even though there is NUMERICAL data showing in the highlighted cells. Because cells G3 to G52 are actually formulas, will =SUM not work? Cheers Ash |

RE: Excel SUM Help
G3 and G52 must have numbers in them obviously, if the numbers come from a formula or not, =SUM doesn't care. At least not in my experience with Excel.

RE: Excel SUM Help
What Michi said. Regardless of how the numbers got there, providing they exist, the formula(es) you will be using in the future should still work.
