Nah, not ncessarily, can buy 4 pot calipers to fit behind 13" wheels. Small discs for obivous reasons, but a good racing compound pad, or carbon cermic pad will never give you fade.

I have run Ferodo DS3000 pads on my old Micra (£130 a set is the only problem) with a standard caliper and never experienced and form of brake fade, brakes were super sharp too. They only weight 800kg or so, so hardly any weight at all Smile

My new catalyst come today and it will probaly be on car this friday its look kinda bigger then orginal now maybe its 1.8" is sitting on car now but not sure, and this one is for my golf thougt, so hope it will sound better now.
