RE: Question
M3 520i? How does that work out? According to your other posts its highly eh-whats-the-word, inefficient to run turbo's to carb's.

They're different models on an entirely different chassis. One is a 3-series and the other a 5-series. Second: You need to specify year models and engine code if you're seriously asking questions like this. Third: When you say "520i" it means its injected and that means it has a fuel injection system so therefore NO CARBURETORS. The last carburated 520 was the E12 chassis with either Solex or Stromberg carburetors. Neither of these work for turbocharging purposes as stock but it may be possible to modify them for it. An easier solution would be to replace the original carburetors with existing blow through carbs made specifically with turbocharging in mind. That's the best way I can answer your very weird and contradicting question. |

RE: Question
BMW names its cars like this.
3-series = 316, 318, 320i, 325i, M3 5-series = 520, 525i, 540i, M5 7-series 740i, 750i and so on. An M3 looks like this: A 520i is a different model entirely and looks like this: |

RE: Question
Or, if it's an E34 520i, it looks like this:
But it's still very different from the M3 of that era, because as Audiojack said, they're completely different cars E36 M3 |
