Going to America for 3 months (internship)
I'll be going on an internship in America for the summer, at the International Gymnastics Camp in Pennsylvania.
Flying to New York a day before I start working there, so if anyone knows any good places... I'm all ears. During the summer I'll mostly be at the camp site and if I do get off it'll probably be with other camp staff to do cultural things for my visa, so unfortunately not able to meet up with anyone. Wondering if anyone lives near it though and has some good ideas! |

RE: Going to America for 3 months (internship)
Where at in PA? I have family all over the state. And my hometown is Lancaster, PA! My parents are moving to Scranton lol.
Things to do in PA: Strasburg Rail Road and PRR Museum (literally the nicest steam engine setup in the world) Philadelphia (Liberty Bell etc) Go to a Pirates or Phillies game Steamtown in Scranton Three Mile Island Bennezzette (Massive Elk population) Pittsburgh Vintage Gran Prix Pocono Racetrack Hershey Park/Chocolate World/Hershey Zoo Kennywood in Pittsburgh Knobels in the middle of nowhere Ride the Tallship up in Erie Lake Pymatuning and Connueat Lake (tons of fish and fish hatcheries for the state game commission) Free state rifle and pistol ranges If you're timing is right: Traction Engine show(all sort of cool stuff and they actually run them!) Fall Hershey AACA meet(very expensive and rare classic cars) I'm just across the border in Ohio and over summer head into PA quite frequently. |
