TC Logo Pack & Centerlines for Fernbay

[THE WIZARD DK]

Fernbay centerlines made for vanilla LFS .
actually made for TC cruise. instead of 2 lanes you now get 4 lanes. 2 on each side of the road.
in some places it will show a double line in one roadside. i cant do anything about that since that is due to Fernbay is the oldest track in LFS and have some seriously weird mapping on textures.
they are made in default 1024 size.and packed in winrar.

files goes to LFS/data/dds. back up your default in case you like to switch back!

EDIT:
you can install the textures without loggin out from LFS. when installed go back ingame and type the command /rtex to reload all textures

TC Logo Pack for Fernbay & Rockingham

included is the TC Logo in png which is not so good tbh, but i copied the logo from the top of page so wasnt exactly the best solution. in case TC have a better resolution logo i can make some new using that, but for now this is what i had to work with. TC can freely use them as you like. they are made from and on default LFS textures. with a thought of the TC texture pack of which i dont think something like this was made. these were made purely for TC City Driving.

LFS/Data/dds (Remember to back up existing files in case you like to revert back)they are packed in winrar.

EDIT: come to think of it the Rockingham Logo should perhaps have been made with TC World logo ?

while at it anyways so thought why not..

here is a simbroadcast version. actually two versions.
black and white . these files are saved in DXT5 not in DXT3 as normal LFS files are. this is because DXT3 covers only directx9 but by saving them in DXT5 they can be used with DirectX9-10-11 for future updates i think scawen goes for DX11.

EDIT: i also made these for kyoto and aston(same file) and im currently working on using some stuff from them for other tracks too. i think it could look better than default and also it would be more same look if used for those tracks it is possible to make them for. one example is billboards on westhill as the metal they stand on is really not that good looking ingame. my thought is if using lynches they could be sort of okay to look at. still to be made though and as such i have no idea how it would look at this time.

Barrier TC:
Noticed TC barrier in the TC road pack is no longer in use. (Barrier1.dds).
file have changed to AX_BARRIERS.dds .

so here is a suggestion of how a new could look like.

Not ungrateful to your work. I even acknowledged that you've probably put in a notable amount of effort. Your posts are just almost impossible to read due to writing way too much for apparently almost no reason.

My point is: you put in a lot of effort, but often with your posts (including your other, larger thread) you don't receive much feedback. TC Exclusive Jersey Barrier.
Credits to Disposable for reworked jersey Barrier & thebestracerthereis for updating it to AX_Barriers.
everything else is made by THE WIZARD DK (August 9 2024).
decided to make it in 8000x8000 resolution. Text written is from TC FXO Police skin.

Progress:
test 1. image shown here is miniature its in full 8000x8000 if you click it.
all signs are reworked with higher resolution. now for the armco.

test2: had to reduce bit depth because too large for site:

V1 Finished. the site could not handle it in png so this is the Jpeg 8000x8000

Version 2. more weathered old look. concrete used was not the best resolution
but it i think its alright.also 4 resolutions same as above.

***Side Note*** this file is used for objects for all tracks. if you choose a higher resolution than default,
it should not affect FPS. although maybe on very old systems.

TC City Driving Markers.
AX_Arrows worn with TC Webadress.
Ja Arrows is only used for Fernbay.
AX Arrows is used for Editor objects.
Made this some years ago without the TC web text.
so have been tested quite some time.
it makes Markers visible yellow more than blinding white.
Distance markers can be used to find you braking points.
Originally made for Rally Edition i am working on.

it comes in 5 different resolutions 256-512-1024-2048-4096.
Default in LFS is 256.
but you can easily use a higher resolution without FPS loss

INSTALL:
1. Copy the 2 dds files from desired resolution folder(only one)
2. Paste it to LFS/Data/dds (overwrite if prompted)
3. Start up LFS.
4. watch Markers
5. Enjoy your Cruise

in case you like to revert back to Default/vanilla
grab the files from Default LFS.
throw it back into LFS/Data/dds and overwrite.
then you are back to default.
PNG image is NOT to be used in dds folder.

These took some effort to make as they got multiple layers made from white to yellow added dirt and scratches.
so i hope people will like these. probably the files that took most effort in all this thread tbh.

Smoke/Dust for those sideways moments. it got a little dirt flowing across the ground too. white smoke but looks more dirty on e.g. grass or gravel.
how to adjust smoke transparency ingame see image below.
(Options/Graphics/Dust LOD).
oh crap made the arrow on the wrong slider. its the slider below that(sowyy).

this file is the current used in night edition.
it looks weird because upside down but LFS spins it ingame so it is correct.

(Back up your default DUST_ALP.dds)
