impressive cola
i think he have one more laptop adrian2k
Thanks
I've got a 2 Dells, a no name mediacenter, and a HP as well. I just prefer my IBM's, so thought I'd show them.
The two laptops in the middle, (X61s, X41), are for sale. I bought them cheap with only the selling in mind. I cleaned them thoroughly, and upgraded them slightly with some spare parts I had lying around. Putting Ubuntu on them today, taking new pictures, and putting them for sale = profit
New monitor n' speakers n' stuff
bit offtopic, but what do you want for the ibm's cola? PM me or something
will put my setup here aswell somewhere this week
Update:
Sold my 27'' monitor, as it was too valuable for me to just have standing there, when I could use something else. So I did.
At first it might look normal, then look at the size difference between the TV and the keyboard (Logitech G510, fairly large)
Also, Ganja; I PM'ed you, though you didn't reply to me.
@AJ
I like. Could use a similar setup myself
ASUS n73sm
My G27
i did made stand for shifter
EDIT: images rezised
I have the same Guinness World Records book xD

so i did use old heavy books
Nice BMW93
I used to have the 15'' version of that laptop

Here's my setup after I've got a new monitor to use instead of my TV.
PC Setup
Room from doorview
Room from window view (Ye blurry I know.)
Rest of table
Old G27 disassembled. Notice the carbon fiber'ish left paddleshifter. (Not done yet though.
) (Ye blurry I know.)
My new (left) and old (right) pedals. Since the old set is out of warranty after I got it replaced, I couldn't resist fiddling a bit with it.
So what I did, was to simply move them up a bit, so they are only attached to one screw each, though they are still very firmly attached, so feels like they've got more travel to them now, which I find very nice.
Also removed the black plastic, so the holes in the aluminium are actual holes now.
Can't help but think that most of that looks totally unnecessary. But meh, that's just me
My setup consists of a laptop and a bag. Simple yet effective.

Well.. The problem comes in at pricing. Laptops are more expensive than desktop PC's performance compared to price, also laptops are very expensive to upgrade compared to desktops. They also have less comfort (typing experience and small screens forcing you to put more pressure on your eyes trying to read small text at a longer distance) than desktops.
