Bought an IBM T43p for 25£. Was missing an HDD, battery and charger. But I had some spare parts at home, so now functions as my primary laptop until my T61p arrives Smile

Actually windows 7 installs itself while running in 800x600, to ensure that almost every display will show the actual installation Smile

In my experience the Corsair cables rarely last very long until the signal completely goes and there's no jack in the headphone cup so if you accidentally pull that weak little cable you're screwed Mellow

The cable's got a fabric coating, which seems to prevent it from stretching at all, but keeps it flexible. Provided the strain relief survives, it should be fine.

Anyway, if it breaks after the 2 year warranty runs out, I know my way around a soldering iron and screwdriver Wink
