In my experience the Corsair cables rarely last very long until the signal completely goes and there's no jack in the headphone cup so if you accidentally pull that weak little cable you're screwed

The cable's got a fabric coating, which seems to prevent it from stretching at all, but keeps it flexible. Provided the strain relief survives, it should be fine.

Anyway, if it breaks after the 2 year warranty runs out, I know my way around a soldering iron and screwdriver
