Really frustrated with outages and crappy connections in recent months, nothing we can control. Would it be possible to implement a bonus trip recovery system where trips would be restored for people who timed out? Just lost a nice bonus, 15km shy from it because the server farted...

We do for a fact have a system that tries to safe user's trips. And it did well in the past. It's not 100% safe but it helped many players. However, this system only detects genuine server issues (or tries to), not personal issues like in your case. Such a system could easily get abused then. In simple words, it takes more players losing connection at a time to assume it was the server's fault, in which case the trips are saved. If it's only you, then it's your personal problem.

Well I guess it sucks to suck. Giving my ISP a call tomorrow. been happening quite often

I noticed that when the attacks happened. Really a lifesaver, very nice.
