RE: Idling people.
To support the suggestion of increasing the slots on track in LFS, please go and do so here:
http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=74905 And we can just cross our fingers, that Scawen will take a look into it. |

RE: Idling people.
How about a challenge for Chuck, making chat visible on both servers (i think LTC has that, not sure), cause many people come on to chat and all that, doesn't really matter what track they're on. Just a suggestion. That would encourage people to join server two aswell

RE: Idling people.
I agree with Ice, and yes, when I played LC before TC, they had the chat on all servers. Just the XXXX joined (XXXX) was only shown in the server you were.

RE: Idling people.
Indeed, Ice. Since there are only 2 servers, the chat shouldn't be too crowded. It's still easy enough to read on LTC servers at busier times even tho they have 4 servers linked into the interserver chat.

RE: Idling people.
I don't know if it has been posted before, but:
1. A (possible) faster kick-in time for the idle-timer; 2. Shorter idle-time for those who are being AFK; 3. Less easy to get rid of the timer: Currently: You start your engine, put the car in the first gear, drive a few meters, and stop again. Idea: When you drive-off to get rid of the timer, the timer won't disapear, but freeze instead. After several KM's (5?) it should disapear. If the driver stops within the required KM's to make the timer disapear, it will continue where it has been frozen before. 4. .. |

RE: Idling people.
Agree Viper, + it would be easier to call an admin if there were some...let's say less intellegent people on less populated server, instead of going to forums and waiting for someone to show up. It's only up to chuck whether he'll be up for it or not
