Currently, when a cop stops a civilian for offences such as failing to stop, careless driving, dangerous driving etc, he/she is given an option of a low, medium and high fine with the amount displayed next to it. When the cop decides on a fine, the amount is displayed in the chat.

My suggestion is for the amount, plus "low fine", "high fine" and maybe "medium fine" to also be displayed in the chat.

My reasons for suggesting this:

- It would prevent cops fining high without a valid reason because they would quickly gain a bad reputation for being "money hungry".

- Cops may feel inclined to give (or civilians may ask for) an explanation as to the reason they were fined high. For example - "I fined you high for failing to stop because you also crashed into a few other drivers in the chase without an apology". This would increase role-play.

- Should the cop fine low, this would make the civilian realize that the cop is being kind/fair and would give the person an opportunity to thank the cop.

- I imagine it would be relatively easy to implement.
I like it.
+1 Smile
+1 to that
Nice idea.
-1, the chat gets spammed at the end of a chase anyway, I don't think I'd want to see any more. Besides, it's not a real problem at the moment.
Lamp, he means when it says bla bla was fined an amount of money, it says which fine it is (on the same line).

e.g BoyPower [COP] fines [TC]>Lampshade< 300 euros for causing a crash [High fine]
Oh, my bad. Erm, in that case, can't hurt I suppose. Tongue
Or atleast make it such as the following:

Ash was fined €214 for Dangerous Driving
Ash was fined €295 for Dangerous Driving
Ash was fined €354 for Dangerous Driving

Values are made up btw lol Smile
Colour coded you mean? Yes, good idea!

Nice idea!Thumbup
Just make the amount green/yellow/red, it'd look terrible otherwise imo Tongue
Yeah, colour coded is a nice idea. It would keep the things nicely presented and compact.
Don't change the color of the fine. Think about it. [TC]'s insim money system is already color coded where green = gain and red = loss, this would just make the system inconsistent and only people who have read these forums would know the color meant something other than what it normally does.

Just add [High] at the end of the text, then everyone understands it.
seems like a nice idea, gives the suspect what sorta fine they are getting, and the colour code is a great idea aswell
Or, to make it more compact,

RaptorJesus fined Chuck €500 (H)
RaptorJesus fined Chuck €320 (M)
RaptorJesus fined Chuck €230 (L)
really like the idea Smile
I like the colour code
I like the tag idea, but not overly keen on the colour coding.
i like the idea Smile
