Currently, when a cop stops a civilian for offences such as failing to stop, careless driving, dangerous driving etc, he/she is given an option of a low, medium and high fine with the amount displayed next to it. When the cop decides on a fine, the amount is displayed in the chat.
My suggestion is for the amount, plus "low fine", "high fine" and maybe "medium fine" to also be displayed in the chat.
My reasons for suggesting this:
- It would prevent cops fining high without a valid reason because they would quickly gain a bad reputation for being "money hungry".
- Cops may feel inclined to give (or civilians may ask for) an explanation as to the reason they were fined high. For example - "I fined you high for failing to stop because you also crashed into a few other drivers in the chase without an apology". This would increase role-play.
- Should the cop fine low, this would make the civilian realize that the cop is being kind/fair and would give the person an opportunity to thank the cop.
- I imagine it would be relatively easy to implement.
