Fair point however dogs do not have 8 legs and are able to and for the most part are trained up to avoid such things. (Not saying spider can't be tamed however it is probably a lot less likely)

I really like tarantulas, they're not too fast and don't try to escape you all the time. I had one on my hand and it crawled up my arm, I must admit it was quite a weird experience but nevertheless, it was the friendliest spider I've ever met!

I wouldnt be to sure on that Connor, the Tarantulas i own are docile,slow and tame. There are some T's that are lightningly fast and you can not catch them (The Goliath Tarantula can run as fast as a human), The Avic Species are also fast, as with most Tarantulas they can run pretty darn fast, specially when provoked, in region of 8-15 mph they can run at.
