I have to say, the tech demo is awesome already. Definitely worthy of Alpha..

Alpha Release unplayable on my laptop. Here are the specs of it:

- I7 M620
- 6GB DDR2
- IGP4000

Only map that runs is Flat pad of the techdemo map.
Just waster 16$ for that.

Guess i need to buy a new computer!

Im also worried about performance on the actual maps, seems like many objects in view effect your fps pretty hard

No problems with that tbh. I do run the game on 1024x768 with everything on low though. I start lagging a little bit as soon as I hit something.

With my G25 the wheel in game got an delay so you'll easily crash, can't find any place to adjust that. But it's fine when you use your keyboard.

Works on my Intel 2 duo 1.8ghz, HD 5770 1gb and 2gb ram if you remove all the parts of the cars lol, you should at least have 4gb ram and a quad core CPU if you want to run this game without lagging.

(Tested on alpha)

Has the alpha version the same performance as the demo? Or is it some older build?

Demo is running fine on high only lags a little when i stress it with fraps.

I think it's the same engine only that there's more options in the Alpha version, more maps and cars. We can also access a special part of the forum to download new maps/cars and other updates together with the basic alpha update that is automatic through the game i think.

Hour later and still no key I am obliterating my truck though in the demo lol

Their physics with the differentials and such are unreal!

The only thing I would change is the smoothing for the steering, it's too slow for a wheel.

I agree the steering response time is so slow even on keyboard or controller, I feel like i will never go from full left to right lock lol.

wait what?! the only i have behter is 16gb DDR3.. :/
