Description of Incident (Include Timestamps):

I ( [COP]elcopiloto ) was in chase, chasing "Diey".

- 27:16 The suspect went left at traffic lights. [6S]Hakou[COP] was waiting at the red light.

- 27:35 Suddenly i noticed the SIREN popup on my screen and saw the cop car in my mirror.

- 27:38 My suspect braked and went to the right. I also slowed down to follow him. [6S]Hakou[COP] was on the lane to the bridge.

- 27:41 The suspect made a u-turn. I instantly slammed the brake to turn around also. But i could NOT turn, because there was another player ( Red Rob ). So i lifted the brakes to go a little further and turn without endanger him.

- 27:42 I want turn my car but noticed [6S]Hakou[COP] was going to overtake me. I stopped my car to NOT make contact with him. He passed me really slow so i had to wait until i can turn without danger.
After he passed me slowly he turned to the right and parked infront of me.

The communication with him was local.

- 28:15 I confrontated him with his action and he was not very friendly and didn´t said sorry for -in my opinion- interfering with another chase. He also said in cop-chat "rdy for backup". This is not shown in the MPR.

As I already mentioned, I believe it was an interference in another chase.
1. He could have stayed behind me.
2. Surely he got the popup "chase ahead".

I was in chase on join mode and I stayed behind you, you turned at the same bend as me and I always stayed behind, suddenly you wanted to do a uturn (something for which I do not blame you) we see on the replay that I roll in step and that I have the foot on the brake to anticipate your uturn. You preferred to let me pass. My chase ended in the same moment and you came close to me screaming "WTF" not very calm lol. On the other hand I then explain everything that happened. You accused me of making you lose your suspect but we can see very clearly in which direction he goes after all of it and I told you that fact was your fault and not mine. I do believe there is an incomprehension, it is true that you could have thought that I will pass without paying attention but I didnt. It's a minor accident and I don't think a report is necessary.

Hi,

I've seen the evidence provided, and in this case, Rob1 overreacted to an occurrence (which I wouldn't even call an incident). I don't understand if this was an attempt to penalise another player due to personal issues, or just a sum of previous red mists that led to his reaction - anyway, I didn't come to speculate.

First, let's get to the facts:

1. Hakou was in join mode for another chase, Emir's one. Furthermore, chase was heading towards that location, so he didn't randomly go after you.

2. Hakou braked behind you, giving you enough room and time to make a U-turn. Instead of returning to catch up with your suspect, you stood still and waited for Hakou to overtake, which led him to assume he could do it, given your attitude.

3. Even after he passed you, you had more than enough area to go around and catch up with your suspect - who was driving a car significantly inferior in terms of power than yours.

4. It was only after you wasted time honking at him that you finally made a U-turn, but took the wrong route to your suspect (who was still very close to you).

After all this, you returned to question him for losing your chase, something that unquestionably wasn't his fault. Nothing that happened here was against the rules, you simply overreacted over something superficial. As manual states: "A report is needed if the offence is severe or if the user does not improve". In this case, that wasn't even an offence. Consider this for future incidents to avoid unnecessary use of the admin's time.

Considering all said above, no action will be taken.
