Cops

The cops are fine, they just lack control of their car when it comes to using P.I.T. maneuvering the other driver. I think you guys should also make "not braking into corners" a must not, quite reckless in my opinion. It's not only putting them into danger, but the other innocent people, as well.

Which ones are *Removed* stupid? All of them? If you are having a problem with either a group of cops or an individual, feel free to report them. You can either let us know if we are online with you, or report them via our User Reports section on this forum. We may then ask a cop to complete training before letting them loose again.

Just as an aside, the purpose of our serves is ultimately based around Cop's and Robber's. This involves police chases. These sometimes involve more than 1 cop. If you are annoyed at being chased by more than 1 cop, perhaps you should look at improving your 'suspect' skills, or who knows, maybe I'm just being bitchy.

As above (now that you have a slightly less abrupt post), report cops that you have a problem with so we can see if there are issues that need sorting out. Unless we know about them, we can't act on them.

That story certainly does not match the facts.

I Kimi, Thugzy999 and Texas_16 Glow Ati were chasing this guy today, and I fail to see any wrong doing from any of the cops. This guy kept on brake checking the cops, changing lanes and bumping into the cops, several PIT moves were initiated and a few attempts of blocking this guy, he himself used force against the cops and ultimately a PIT move ended this chase fair and square.

This is a very generalised statement. If you have seen someone who you feel is not in control of their car then it's probably best filing a report against them.

In this case you should be in the servers for a while to tell if someone an actual cop or someone who needs improvements. All you can do for now is either sort out a report incase ramming is involved or advise them to make a thread in the " Basic training " Area. Have you read all guides and rules to be sure of what you can say that someone has a moment of loss of car control? Or simply generally a bit basic and poor? Everyone can complain about others, but why would you make a thread about our cops in the servers ? It's not like everyone had training the first time they joined the server. Everyone is free to apply for a training if they would like to. We have a well working training system with experianced trainers who can deal with all situations. You may bring in your thoughts to the leaders or supervisors about the training if you would like to do so.

I think it would not be bad to take coptraining yourself, so you can experiance it and see what is being tested on a person. What the requirments are and such things. Don't forget you need 2500 Kms for that.

Not everybody is a perfect cop. People make mistakes, even us trainers. You have your off days and your good days. By the looks of it, you are making a rage thread because you lost a chase. As Paul stated, i think you should experience your self what it is like been a cop on a relativly quick suspect.

Most cops you see on the server have had some form of training, meaning they have gone through testing and car control training. We don't pass cops if we think they are not safe enough on the server.

Everything that you need to know has been said in the thread. If you have any problems, report the users and the admins will decide whether it was right or wrong.

They didn't end the chase, I ended up taking a wrong line and my rear decided to let go, slowly going towards the outside, I decided to counter slightly and let off the throttle a bit. I couldn't do much when there was a rail there, so I decided to go into the sand. Yes, this is a rage thread, mostly because I was "racing" around the server with another guy. He was ahead of me speeding, and I guess they decided to choose me over him.

Police are supposed to PIT you into barriers or other objects. Some choose to and some choose to just PIT to wear tires out.

It's obvious the Police would chase the car in front of them because he can get a good !laser on you. Why would he want to overtake you then !laser the guy in front of you?

Next time you get chased pull over if you don't like the experience or even don't break the server laws and you'll be fine and dandy!

The system that cops use, uses a tracking system to the nearest car in the cops view, sometimes this can lag etc, its only sensible for the cop to chase you as the laser will only pick up you.

And bare in mind this is a cops and robbers server, so race, cruiseand drift all you like but if a cop sees you, he will take the opportunity.

Again not excatly true.. Yes You chose a wrong line which resulted in a perfect PIT move to spin You around and yet another PIT move as You were desorientated to put You into the sand, which then resulted in 3 cops boxing You in textbook style.
I saved the replay and it clearly shows what happend.
