I think the losing contact distance seems fine now, however, the getting into chase mode from joinmode often takes too long, even when being close to the suspect.

I don't know the exact numbers, but it feels like you have to be very close (under 60 metres maybe) for a long time.
I often experienced being very close for few minutes, even following, u-turns etc. and still not in chasemode.

Anyone else experienced this?

Another thing:
It feels like the car in front of you must be way closer now to start a !chase, I feel like I more often get "No car in tracker". Did it get changed?

Yeah, I've noticed that as well. Especially when you're about to chase a car for drifting, you need to be closer to him/her than usually in order to get the user on your tracker.

I think the distance needs to be increased a bit, in kyoto when im doing 160, an FZ comes at 240 or more and it takes a lot of time to catch up.

It used to be more, but by error. Some distance calculation function was just plain wrong and after I had corrected that some side-effects emerged. This is one of them.
The current distance is 100m but can surely be increased.

I indeed vote for an increase, if I see a car drifting in front of me I can't really chase him without speeding up for a long time.

Am I the only cop on the server? Hard to believe. Today I had the same issue again, either speeding for a long time to get him into the tracker or just not chasing him...

I have had issues trying to detect users in the tracker even when I am literally 10m behind them.. it doesn't show up, if that's what you mean.

I had something happen to me today while I am on the bridge lasering, there is some sort of delay on the tracker. Before, it used to get people on the tracker instantly, now there's a very short delay. Making it not possible for me to track fast FZ's sometimes.
