It depends on the new tyre physics being completed. As soon as the new tyre physics is ready, the VWS can be released.

For me the tyre physics is now a very high priority.

My only problem with this release is that they have released S3 too early, before they had content ready to put into it. The S3 hype never happened and now never will because that's it, Rockingham.

They will have to hype the living crap out of future content releases to get people back into LFS at a critical mass.

This was a poor marketing decision... They must either be desperate for the money or they've caved to community pressure for new content too early.

Agreed. I don't see the logic behind releasing a whole new licence costing 12 pounds which currently only has one new track. Like someone said on the LFS forums, it was quite rude of them to charge 12 pound for one track that was announced many years ago.

I understand what you are saying, but the alternative is to wait and not release it until something else is ready. We think most people would rather have the option.

From now on, we can work on S3 content and release it immediately.

We do intend to add more to the S3 license, though we cannot guarantee it. If anyone prefers to wait for our content updates before they buy a license upgrade, that is a reasonable decision.

I do hope this isn't just some marketing strategy for a last-ditch effort for some extra cash before packing LFS in. There should have been way more hype than this (as I'm sure there was for S2) instead of just giving into community pressure and giving us the one track - Oh, and don't forget those improved AIs!

Before you buy. If you think this is going to be good for cruising like Westhill, think again. Compare it to Aston inside the Kyoto oval and that's probably how it will look.

Depends on how you see it ,I mean, some here have paid 25 bucks for a game they play for more than 10 years right now. 12 more do not seem so much if you see it that way, however, I agree that asking money for 1 track is a bit poor, or atleast, we expected more.

However , I bought it as a sign of support, not the content itself.
