Its kinda interesting, s2 costs 24pounds, s3 36pounds. Who wants to overpay 12punds for only one track? And it is where insteresting things starts, I think most, if not all servers will go to s3 version, so no more fun for s2 users, that means you cant decide if you want to pay another 12punds or not, you have to...

Personally I find that part a good idea, keep their mouths shut and then they can't fail to deliver anything and disappoint people. The bad idea is releasing S3 with only 1 piece of new content, despite being good content, it's not enough and they should have waited until they had 1 or 2 more things.

Maybe their point were just to prove that they are still bringing contents to the game (by releasing the "S3", the well waited).

Off-topic: I think that I will definitely use the VWS (in June 2022) as medic car due to its specs.

S2 players can join any server that isn't using S3 content at that time. The only content in S3 so far is Rockingham.

This means S2 users can join *any* server that doesn't currently have Rockingham loaded.


It will only become a problem for S2 players once S3 gets significantly more content than just 1 track.

Also, as has already been stated, you will not need an S3 license to play on any of the following tracks:

CityDriving Montana
CityDriving Kyoto
CityDriving Jamaica
CityDriving Weston Park
CityDriving Blackwood
CityDriving Sydney

You will need an S3 license to use:

CityDriving Rockingham (Name TBC)

However, for the meantime at least, we will offer an S2 alternative during Rockingham periods. As Elmo mentioned, S2 only becomes an issue when S3 gets things like new road cars or more tracks. S3 is a content update only.

One question, so, when insim and lay and all runing,is this server going to have a diverent track rotation of s2 servers, will be stucked at Rockingham, whats the rotation for s3 server?

Server three will only be used when Rockingham is in the rotation. There will be at least one server on an S2 track at all times so that everyone has somewhere to play CityDriving.

I just tried it out, this track is gonna have so many junction when made into a cruise layout. It actually looks fun to cruise in though, don't know how chases will turn out.

No outside cruising/service roads? Pff whatever then Scaweeen.. I don't think I'll be buying it until they release the tire's and some new cars. One Racing track isn't enough for me for part with £12 just yet..

I agree with you. There is only few of those but I hate the most invisible walls at other side of the tunnel cue to them m´being stupid, fence would have been better, a LOT!

Well, People don't blame Scawen please be nice!

Dont worry, S3 is start work progress and will come next update more content soon! Just buy S3 get save and help bug report, later update in future. And lets'go new track when ready cruise layout tc server.

Will soon get VWS when finish new tyre physics and some fix, next possible are hide new content update in future.

But still alpha so almost 0.6 version.

Example Version: v1.0 - Release, v0.9 - Beta, v0.8 or less - Alpha.

The track was created years ago, so it does NOT have the new standards that comes with Westhill.

Indeed 12GBP is too much for one track. No one is forcing you to buy it (keep that in mind, people makes drama on lfsforum ).

Personally I bought it to show support to the DEVS (and also to 'reserve' it if more contents comes later).

I had thought on doing a raffle as Christmas Present for a s3 upgrade , but cant.
Cause cant buy a gift for upgrade from S2 to S3 , have to buy S1+S2+S3 , so well. No.

Only can do it if people share their web pass and its not safe...
