Most accidents are not happens by the people who no one respects the speed limit.
Much more made by cops and the robbers in chase.. So this new reward system not solve fully the problem. |

I don't agree with Kenny, but to be honest, the update is good. New members won't know any better so they just drive and think it is normal, and old/respected members will of course, maybe not agree, but la-dee- *Removed* -da, we all know once we hit -5k we get perma banned, so we're going to be a little more inclined to drive at the limit/less over the limit if we run low on money.

I got a small suggestion if it was or is possible to invert some sort of program/script in the insim which is able to detect if you drive the speed limit per say so long than you get a bonus, but if you speed for any of the KM's that get added to your trip than it will not give you the bonus...
EX: You drive 20KM to get a bonus, but you were speeding for 5KM out of the 20 than you need to drive another 5KM at the speed limit to get the bonus. ^ Maybe that is some how possible. |

It hurts somewhat that the bonuses are gone, but I could live with it if differences are removed, meaning that all cars earn the same per tick(+4/5) (with the GTR's as an exception). Then they have to keep to the speedlimit to earn money.
This way at least people can use the car of their choosing, and not have to stick with the XFG/UF1/XRG to make the most. |

I was talking about driving while keeping the speedlimit, giving TBO's and faster cars the ability to get the same profit as XFG's _while_ keeping it within the speedlimit. Here's a crazy idea. What if the peak amount gained wasn't actually at the speedlimit, but instead about 10% Below it? EG. In a UF1, You would earn +4 at 67Mph, and then +3 at 75 Mph..
The thing with [TC]'s Speed limits is they are often faster than what is reasonably achievable around some corners and makes people abit more crash prone as they try to stay near the peak-earning spot. It'd also mean that people in slower cars would have less hard a time earning. Another thing that often causes crashes however is Police Chases. The most common place I find I have my collisions are at ungaurded junctions where Police Vehicles typically shoot across the grass or onto the wrongside because there are no barriers there making it the fastest line. Putting in some barriers to prevent police/suspects from doing this could solve this issue. |

A couple of the ideas I have just read are very interesting, a mix of a few systems/ideas may work well.
Just out of interest, would most people prefer a) A system which is more complicated to understand, but fairer (addresses more of the issues raised here and by TC) or b) A system which is easy to understand, but doesn't fix as many of the problems put forward ? |

I have a few misconceptions to clear up.
Firstly, you can still earn a decent amount of money (more than €1000-1500 per hour) while speeding in a TBO - as long as you don't go excessively (>35%) over the limit. If you do max out a TBO car around the outside of Montana, you'd lose about €2000 per hour (less with the current system once you go over 50km). You'd need to have driven over 350km before the old bonuses cancel that out. One of the biggest problems with the bonus system as was, is that that it massively rewards people with a lot of time to spare, meaning that people who can only play for a couple of hours at a time are at a huge disadvantage. Another problem of course is the Autobahn issue. The current system is far from final. We've been comparing actual earnings with the old system (with and without bonuses) at various driving speeds. Further tweaks/changes to the current system are highly likely. |

To be fair, It would be easier to decide if we had a basic idea of what these systems would actually be about.

I would love option A. Cruising takes up time, more than enough time to figure out a more complicated system. Actually, I bet I some players could have designed the first space shuttle to make it to Mars if they just devoted their cruising time to studying (and of course I'm well on my way)...

My opinion is drive for Bonuses and earn money. If somebody drive fast assumed to drive and use the mirrors and brain and when go to the wrong side check the map etc.. So i live for Bonuses and annoying for me to drive slooowwlyy with XFG. Ok XFG good too but i think i need back the bonuses. I can play a day on 1 hour or maybe 1,5 and earn 50km or 100km a day and earn money but now need to drive slow.
