As far as i remember the main road was sadly still the one with most of the traffic on while others remained more or less empty, even with the lights in place.

While we may disagree on the size of the map, you can only drive on the deserted side roads for so long before it becomes boring. With the track available to general public at least there was some traffic there, but that may have changed in the meantime with people circling the main road like lemmings.

USA made the most of an otherwise empty track, while blackwood trackday restricts what would otherwise be available (for chases at least).

In my eyes it's more removing the restriction from the track, which i used to love and had many a great chase on. I think if you enjoy the trackday map, you wouldn't mind having an extra bit to cruise/chase on.
And yes, Kyoto has its own problems but i cannot imagine them being fixed.

Everybody has an opinion, but my favourite track is Blackwood Trackday, believe it or not. Prefers the best possibility for real driving conditions.

And I have said it before and I am saying it again, why should we remove something from the rotation because *some* people do not like it. Personally, I hate Kyoto and do not enjoy playing it, but I don't ever ask for it to be removed from the schedule because I know others love it.

How can you enjoy the trackday element when u never actually race on the track? With the removal of trackday on blackwood it opens up the possibilty of being able to cruise on the main track and not be restricted to the boring industrial part which people get bored of quickly. And as the poll shows people are in favor of removing the trackday. Also i am on everyday, on weekends and after work and i can see which portion of the track people drive on during trackday and non trackday and i can see that a bare minimum of 2-3 ppl are on the track when its on rotation and when its not the majorty of ppl are on crusing on the track. Since you are cruiser ash im suprised you dont want more track to cruise on lol.. Maybe if you come on more often then you can see my point..

Maybe it’s not just the trackday itsself, but rather the populating of the industrial area which some people actually enjoy and which is mostly empty/boring when the racetrack is open for cruising. Sometimes people just need to be forced to their luck while they don’t even see/understand it.

As much as i disliked the trackday at first, i suddenly pop a few gtr laps, go tow more and 2-wheel at storage yard, which i haven’t done in ages. As much as i hate sidney, suddenly i moneycruise more and use the mrt... as boring as kyoto might appear, hundreds of xfr laps are suddenly fun to me when not done for weeks/months.

But ok, sticking to two rwd cars and one role only might limit ones possibilities /me hugs

Personally i don't really know what i'd prefer, but at the end of the day, i don't mind it the way it is currently. I can understand how BL Trackday isn't to everyone's taste, but then again there's always some people that don't like a track/config.

Which is why I made this suggestion. That way everyone wins, people who like the track day layout have it on one server and the people who don't have the regular layout on another. It worked in the past so why did you guys stop doing it?

certainly that's a matter of taste .. but it's about how useful this track day is ... the track day can also run on the server 2 .. and quite honestly the layout is part of the track to ..

Yes it can and has been determined. Every poll I've seen about this has shown that the majority of people dislike trackday being forced on both servers.

It's a small majority. People are almost split in the poll. Not to mention far from everyone has actually voted. So the polls are not necessarily giving the right image of what should be done. Honestly it would be more useful to see the outcome if more than 41 players voted.

Need traffic to enjoy city driving. The same way opening the track to traffic would empty out most of the industrial area. That's why the solution was to have both options in the track rotation schedule.

People who like hotlapping don't care about traffic though, if anything the less traffic for them the better.

Opening the track empties out the industrial area because most people don't like the industrial area.... If even a medium sized group of people enjoyed it so much that they were willing to drive it instead of the track then there wouldn't be a problem since the industrial area is so small it doesn't need many people to fill it, but I doubt this group exists.

A majority is a majority. Plus I'd argue the only reason this poll is so close is because the only option is to remove trackday completely rather than any compromises. But if poll numbers are too low for you why not make an official poll and promote it on the server during the next track rotation? (I say next track rotation so that the people driven away from the server because of the track get a chance to vote)

if you take a look at the hotlaps ... you will see who drove often or who is high up in the ranking list ... and then you will notice that Franky has created such a thread .. but also liked to drive trackday....


I agree with ras because of the server two ... I had forgotten completely .... then maybe we should find another solution .... there are many smart people on the server

You'll never be able to get the same amount of people that play on the server to vote on forum polls unless TC runs an official poll and encourages people on the server to take part in it. I don't see why just because the current polls about it have less votes than the total tc playerbase means they should be ignored. Many polls have gotten less votes and still been implemented.

if the players want to have changed something they should do a survey themselves
