Quite interestingly, I've been collecting minute-by-minute stats from the [TC] API for about the last month or so now. Let me enlighten you as to how many players are potential 'regulars' who clearly are staying...
Last week - 823 active players 1 Week ago - 807 active players 2 Weeks ago - 777 active players 3 Weeks ago - 791 active players I don't quite get your "bored of this ... all the time". You literally have this week, then almost 4 months until its seen again. Anyway sorry I'm done now. |

If you want more people to weigh in an admin can create a pole thread and post the link as an ad on the server like was done in the past for the old BL to encourage people to vote. as tris aptly pointed out there has been numerous complaints and several threads from people who want to have this too, all them full of replies to supoort this idea.
also ash the question still stands where are they then? clearly not on tc since there is 52 players on, clearly these new players, join , get bored of this layout and go again. go through all the threads tris posted and dont tell me that is still not enough "substatial eveidence" |

When that shit about trackday come alive again, i had a tought that yous would make mini events, small stuff so everyone who really want to participate in that specific day could join, like: "tomorrow we gonna have trackday layout, feel free to sign up".
(thinking about trackday like a moment of fun, and who really wants to, just go on) Event goes down, back to open track. Buuuut, i used to love playing on westhill, big track, open, numerous routes, noice bridges, decent map, isnt it? Not at all, we just got jailed into only 2, but specific type of layouts, one that you're inside, and another one you're outside the cage. WE Retro: OK, old vibes, flashbacks for WE we had in the past. WE Trackday: Same shit as BL. WE Open?????????????? (not seen in months...) Whats the point on focus to make the City Driving server in a trackday server? Isnt it better to shut down the servers and make it only trackday? Oh, i just remembered, that when all of this started to come by, i used to say "here we go to another trackweek" looks like it still the same, and not gonna change. Are y'all from the admins and staff really paying attention to the server? Have y'all even just joined the server and watch how things goes by at SV1 and SV2? Speaking about BL: SV1 mostly FULL, and when not full, only main street has someone driving (empty racetrack) SV2 mostly EMPTY, and when not zero players, we have max 8~10 people, which half of them are afk, or just working, or gravel road farming. Speaking about WE: SV1 also FULL, but depends on the track, we have a numerous amount of crashes (the chicane itself is auto explanatory, since we have the barriers there) SV2 also empty, but at least we have some peace to drive. |

A lot of people clearly enjoy everything BL TD has to offer. Would be a shame to take it away because a smaller portion of the player base dislikes it (your favourite track will come too in the track rotation!). No doubt every track has a similar amount of people, who dislikes it.

Based on current and previous polls it's obvious that majority of people would enjoy having a TD and non TD layout on both servers respectively, and it's clear that the admins are deliberately overlooking this fact for the sake of variety in the track rotation schedules.
Someone mentioned that if the servers are split, the players who enjoy TD won't get the "whole experience" because most people would flock to the other layout. I find this to be a pretty shallow excuse, because non track people often clutter the chat (along with insim messages) and distract players who are doing time attacks. People on the track aren't going to miss the people in the rest of the map... Split servers would definitely help this aspect of it because TD people would be in a more relaxed environment with TD related discussions on the chat. It's amazing how some of the admins are just completely ignoring this and saying that it's fine and people want it. All of the NO voters won't be affected by a change regarding this in any way or shape. I think a lot of those votes came from people who just want to disagree with frank |
