Basically you just described CLC´s bank robbery system which has been around for as long or even longer than TC. they are about the same age in LFS.

but thats exactly what you can do on CLC.
theres a bank on all track combos. you drive inside. start a robbery, waiting for cash to load onto your car , but as you enter the robbery all cops must drop everything they do on server and go all in on the bank robbery suspect. i think i got away once (unknown how) from 8 cops with i think around 10k in cash. so defo possible. however i think i unknowingly used the secret weapon called luck.
and just trust me on this one. they do go all in

i know this because im actually cop on CLC.

question is if chuck can talk to peter about that and find some agreement maybe.

I love that idea, but i've got some question about this one.

How chase gonna work with potential "crashing cops" rule ? We talk about robbing a bank, not a speed fine so idk.

How gonna work the coop heist then ? and what happen if during a coop heist 1 of 2 guy get caught, did he take a reward ? the Reward split in half ?

I really love the idea, but maybe working more on a coop option would be great, heist alone is not that really impressive, it's just a chase with a bigger reward than usual.

I've got ideas for coop heist, maybe putting some mission during the chase for extra money and more fun like every robber need to stop their car TOGETHER for 5 second, if one of them move, the mission is failed.

PS: imma edit this message if i've got more ideas.

I've voted yes. I like the concept of a new idea for the role of the robber or cop. Few concerns and I think it's a good debate on all opinions. This one has been said already, if a robber goes offroad or out of bounds, needs rules on that one. Certain tracks like Kyoto you can go wrong way on WW. I remember back in the days where you couldn't even go WW on Kyoto, not sure why TC took that away. Another concern is, it could take away from normal chases. Also I think this should be limited to certain cars or power. GTR cars is a no from me.

Lets face is Server two is mostly dead with most people using it to park overnight so can drive next day to get more KM's. Maybe make use of that server for this?

As I mentioned the idea isn't fully polished it was mainly to see how the community found it and with TC staff the idea could get properly optimized but I can give you just my quick thoughts about what you asked.

1. Crashing cops rule: You still wouldn't be allowed to 'ram' cops, but with a possible co-op perspective, it might be allowed to use greater force to block cops so your teammate who might be damaged or in a slower car can get some advantage or escape.

2. If the co-op heist was to be implemented some things would need to be made sure. For instance, if only one of you escapes but the other is busted, the person who escapes gets their half of the reward, while the person who gets caught has to pay the fine. For simplicity, 2 people would always be half and half, 3 and 4+ also equally split between the crew.

3. As someone mentioned: Maybe there is a special rules for heists where you can now go off-road in special areas or even stunt (with reasonable intent: for instance jumping over a barrier as a pickup truck, while GTR cops might ruin their car in the process.) Concepts like that would also provide a more dynamic aspect to the chase. This way suspects have to maybe plan out their escape route, coming up with creative tactics in the process, while at the same time cops have to be ready for them, which means picking the fastest GTR isn't always optimal.

Ideally, if TC team and Chuck find the idea like a fun addition, a co-op type mission would be very fun since it would invoke more teamwork and trust between the suspects, and better communication and alertness from cops. Bigger risk --> bigger reward --> more suspense --> more fun for everyone

Just as you said, TC servers are the (and I quote) "best cruise/cop and robber servers". This idea isn't radically changing what TC is, its merely an extension on the cops and robbers aspect. I also don't really get what you mean by pirate gameplay? could you clarify?

He's talking about LFSPro, the Brazilian pirated version of LFS, where similar gameplay was implemented but the management was shit, so rules were never followed, big mess etc.

I understand the wish that if you live and love a game, you want and have to let it develop.
But
This is lfs ( simulator ), not gta ( auto aim game ).

Also, I see the work that Chuck has to do, and let's not forget the work that still needs to be done.

5.1. Road Laws
Cops may break road laws only in case of a chase or joining a chase. Be sure not to put other players in danger. Try to drive on the correct side - only go on the wrong side when necessary.

So if then only with active overarching safty raiting,
that means bad raiting = no chase for cops no chase for maniacs xD.

But only for the simple reason that the kiddies don't have undercontrolle their emotions and should stop infecting me with them
