If they prove he's a terrorist (which seems highly unlikely) then he should get a minimum 5 years, but I assume that America is a guilty until proven innocent kind of place. Also since anyone could use the terrorism card on nearly anyting and it will be considered a serious offence, out of fear that someone will cause harm.

It's a sad thing, I'm a full patriotic American but our judicial system is a joke. We are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty but it is clearly guilt until proven innocent. Especially when driving. I experienced this myself and talked to the prosecutor he said we only have to prove you are going 1mph over. And they will believe a lying police officer over an outstanding citizen.

I think that's in most countries, here aswell. In a one on one argument, the cop is always right, so you really need a witness to win from a cop.
