If I ruled the world I would not rule the world for long. I have no wish to dictate the world as that would simply stunt the worlds growth.

I would quickly have a large government ruling the world with representatives from every country keeping me up to date, sub representatives for every area of every country with those representatives getting their opinions from the local communities.

I'd make use of the mindpower of the ~6Bn people of the earth has, to;

- find a way to distribute food better so that third world countries are not left out.
- find a way to encourage competative market into third world areas so that quality of life improves and jobs become available
- distribute wealth better in order to fund all of this
- since i'm in control of the world all nuclear devices will cease to exist as there will never truly be a need for these when the whole world is being controlled by one person
- maintain our values and traditions that have worked, don't force people out of there religion but make religion strictly a choice and not something that you can force on a child
- cease mass producing guns and only make them available to police and military. do not change gun ownership laws in 'sensitive' areas but simply stop providing them. target gun misuse and bring those guns out of the system until eventually there just are a few left. perhaps incentives to return them would be good but a few people will ofc. be clingy.
- impose a good way to stop the population growing stupidly out of control whilst keeping the matter completely ethical
- stop investing money in laser weapons technology and more money in laser drilling technology so that we can all have geothermal electricity and thus running out of natural resources in that domain is less of a problem

See I think motorcycles should be illegal. 75% of the riders are dumbass idiots who speed and fly around like they have no brain and deserve to be put six feet under. Maybe if it was only mopeds, but the bad run ins I have had with motorcycles piss me off. (totally kidding but serious kind of, we should be allowed to ram these jerks off the road or place a 2x4 out in front of them. Especially when they pass on the berm or in between cars...)
