What car to get?

Why focus on the "sport" section of the cars? Most insurance will charge a shitload more money for that. The fact that he's young and that this is his first car will make it skyrocket.

My first car was a Toyota Tercel (the ancestor of the Yaris) and it cost me close to 800$ for "civil responsibilities" only. It was a shitty car with nothing sport about it. On the other side, my friend had the "sports" version of the same car and for the same type of insurance, it cost him close to 2000$!!

Think about it when you buy your first car. If you're younger than 25, anything with "sport" tagged on it will cost a fortune.

Know what you mean, bought a ford sieera 2.0 petrol, got a quote of rougly 4900 euro to insure a year with me as the driver, but with my dad as the main driver it was around 1500 euro.
But if you want a good car, you really should look into a ford, or a old suzuki.
