Slightly going off-topic (I'll reply to kon4a's original suggestions later this evening when I have some more time).

The issue is with parking sideways, say if you have a !hazard set up, I think the hazard is only viewable to those approaching behind your actual vehicle. Which makes sense in a way, because the hazard should only be on one side of the road. However, when parked sideways I don't think the hazard is viewable to those approaching the incident? Because your car will be facing away from the actual direction of the road. Perhaps Chuck could shed some light on this...
