Basic Training - JASO6
Training Information:
Took place on: 4/6/14 Trainer(s) Present: Connor [T] Assistance Present: Polete [CA] Lead Trainer: Connor [T] Good Points: Your PITs on the suspect were quite good, the were calculated and quite safe, they spun your suspect out very well. Your overall car control is good and you don't seem to spin the car out much, even on a higher speed corner, which can happen in a RWD car. Your driving was in a cautious manner, it was good that you did this because it shows that you hold potential in being a safe cop. You definitely understand the manoeuvres and how to use them in specific situations. Improvements: Your PITs will improve with experience, becoming more and more precise. You seemed to slip your clutch a lot which caused you to burn it, even up until the point that it was fully burnt. Your control of the throttle needs work, try accelerating out of a corner with some ease, a lot of the time you just put your foot all the way down and damaged your tires and your clutch in the process. Your reaction time was not up to scratch and your awareness of the suspect was at a very low standard. There was a time when you saw the suspect had U turned, you slowly turned around, followed his exact movements into the 'parking' area and that lost you a lot of time and distance on the suspect. Instead of following the suspect's every move, try and look for alternative routes to try and catch up with the suspect. To enable yourself to do this you must relax and think logically, this will, however, improve with experience. You will need to practice driving under pressure, maybe get some racing experience and see what you can do when you're put under the pressure of other drivers. This will help you with relaxing when chasing a suspect and being able to deal with traffic safely. You seemed to drift around a lot of the corners and whenever you had to brake suddenly, you would go down to Neutral instead of shifting down steadily, this also added to burning your clutch even more. Authorized by Luke. Notes: Just note down everything said here and try to mainly work on your awareness, controlling of the car around corners (no drifting) and shifting up and down. Sorry, you have failed Basic Training. Please feel free to apply again. You must wait a minimum of 7 days before reapplying. Thanks! The [TC] Training Team |
