I see your reasons, it is tough for a paramedic to watch the scene from grass where the police officer helps the victim. Police officers have the ability to answer SOS-calls, and it's not like they are must to do so as you've written, they do it for the mere fun of it.
Polices are on top of the rank system when comparing to MEDs/RES's or TOWs; I wouldn't fight with them! I usually let MEDs/RES's or TOWs to help the user in need when I am policing - as it's not the polices' ultimate job - and do the traffic surveillance in the meantime and help with the scene if needed. I'd think that restricting polices from actually helping could cause trouble. |
