Reputation system is now built into MyBB. The option has been disabled in the Admin CP

Yeah. My point was it was not removed out of the blue, it just did not see an appearance on the new forum.

Yep, a 'dislike' button could cause bitterness, or at least distributed out of bitterness. It's not like anyone is obliged to like every post anyway. Again, to go back to the Facebook example, I'm sure they haven't added a dislike button for the same reasons.
