Question about VIN

are the VIN's on every single car unique? meaning that VIN will never appear on another car again even if it has disappeared?

or are they regenerated?

example below.

Buy XFG VIN: AAGOD

Car reaches 00% cond and vanishes.

Buy FZ5 VIN: AAGOD
