Not exactly. It's played without skates and other equipment related to ice hockey, played indoor on a wooden floor. Sticks are different too, as well as the ball.

Though the objective is same: make more goals than your opponent team during the match. One floorball match is 3x20 minutes.

Actually floorball is played indoor usually (at least on higher divisions) on soft mat-like surface, like you have seen on i.e. volleyball. You can see that mat also in the my pic before. That wooden floor is nowadays only used in old schools or sport centers
