Basic Training - RacerSS
Training Information:
Took place on: 08/11/2015 Trainer(s) Present: Nismo [T], Connor [T] Assistance Present: Lead Trainer: Nismo [T] Good Points: You had good car control throughout training and the final chase. your braking and cornering was good too and you were able to maintain sight of the suspect. You were able to block the suspect quickly when they tried to escape. Improvements: There are some improvements I would like to you take on board so that you can aim to be a better COP. Firstly, your awareness was not great. You tried to perform maneuvers in unsafe areas which would result in heavy damage to the suspects vehicle and your own. This is a clear sign of unsafe copping and you need to improve in this area. This is a result of you rushing and forcing maneuvers at every given moment which is something you should not do. Find a safe area to perform a maneuver and bust the suspect with as little damage as possible. In relation to the previous improvement, you were using too much force when performing a PIT. You done this by pushing the suspect around and generally being too harsh. I advised you in the training that pushing a suspect around is not the correct way to perform a PIT maneuver. To perform, a sharp nudge to their rear wheels is all that is necessary for a PIT maneuver, the force will the act upon them and they will lose traction and spin out, at this point you are then to apply your brakes and prepare for anything unexpected. You did grasp this idea in the training but seemed to not think of it in the final chase. In addition, during the final chase I could see that you were hitting the suspects door multiple times, this is a result of not calculating the PIT properly. Hitting the door of the suspect is considered ramming in some aspects. This relates to the first improvement and you should position your car correctly before you perform a maneuver. Your reactions were okay, but they could be improved, there were times where the suspect would slow down and it took you a while to slow down, as a result you collided with them. To improve, give yourself a larger reaction distance and glance at your mini-map if the suspect is far ahead. Notes: Authorized by Connor |
