1. In real life, it would be easy to distinguish between a proper strobe/lightbar and mere lights/hazards flashing. This is definitely not the case in LFS (see my previous comment about it looking too much like a strobe). This will potentially cause confusion. For this reason, I'd like to ask that you don't use the "EBL" feature you've designed, on our servers.
2. I don't think this is as effective as you'd hope it'd be.
3. People brake heavily all the time. The lights would be completely ignored eventually.
