I was told to check my firewall settings and can confirm that any application involved with Live For Speed has been set to allowed. I can't see what is stopping any of these apps from connecting.

Have you tried to temporarily disable your firewall completely and then try running the applications? You've probably adjusted your firewall correctly, but this will provide you with clarity.
