RE: Reporting [TC]›Yung‹[VCU]
Hi, I will respond to your timestamps and other claims you make in this report.
37:40 - Brainfart moment, I apologized then and I do now. 54:20 - Minor moment with no affect to gameplay, just missed your brake lights. 54:31 - Clearly was not my intention to push you into oncoming traffic. The first thing I did after the incident was apologize, leave the chase and review the MPR. When you started pushing me towards the wall I reacted in the moment to stop you pushing me into the wall. I really did not expect it to be that quick or easy to push your car away as you were turning into me, I also thought I was in a higher gear with lower RPMs. The turbo on the car is very laggy and at lower RPMs you can floor it and accelerate a far slower rate than you can with it spooled. In the case the car accelerated faster than anticipated, it caught me by surprise and I didn't react fast enough. From reviewing the replay after the fact, I noticed you driving in follow cam and have much better view of the road ahead than I and you are also able to make very quick and unrealistic steering inputs, this suggests you are using the mouse or a controller to steer. Reacting to these fast movements is not an easy task with a wheel. After turning into me you quickly accelerated and straightened your steering, which I did not expect. You then braked and made a right steering input to avoid hitting the end of the armco barrier and thus you went into oncoming traffic. My conclusion is that I take the majority of the blame for this incident and for that I apologize to those involved again. I do believe that you could have prevented yourself going into oncoming traffic, however I don't blame you for your reaction to the armco. In the heat of the moment in chases we are dealing with miliseconds and a lot of variables especially on a map such as Sydney. 1:20:45 - No affect on gameplay whatsoever, a reach. I decided I wanted to go to pit instead of having a roadblock at this location. I reversed to remove the roadblock and you passed through with no issues. From my perspective of the line you were on, it looked like you were going to be turning to your left. As can been seen in the replay I applied some throttle (as I intended to u-turn and drive to the pit) while still on the brakes but instantly applied more pressure to my brake pedal when I realized my car was moving forwards and you were in fact not going to your left. I think you are reading too much into things. Regarding this: Quote:Description of your conversation with this user(s) about their conduct, including their reaction to your messages: since he is a tc member, I expected him to enter into a dialog with me after this chase, I guess he didn't feel the need to talk to me because he didn't regret what he did and I had to leave the server because I had urgent work and I am already opening the forum topic now Before reporting another user you are expected to talk with them prior, this is made clear in the 'User Report Information' and 'How to report a rule-breaker' threads in this forum. Of course, I was waiting for your very long chase to end before messaging you. I had to go AFK for a bit and before I left you're chase was still going and when I returned it was not at the forefront of my mind and I forgot to check if you had finished yet. You were limping a very broken car with a very low possibilty of escape, you could have ended the chase earlier and contacted me and/or I might have seen it end and then contacted you. I would have explained, apologized again and compensated you for the chase fine. I can see that immediately after the chase ended you wanted to file a forum report with zero intention of talking with me prior, you could have sent me a quick reminder after this but you chose not to. If you truely wished to have a talk with me before filing the report, you could have. |
