How do YOU keep your sanity during a long drive?

I know a guy who was motorway driving overnight, his son was in the passenger seat with his window open and had fell asleep, too much cold air on his face for too long meant he had to go to hospital when he woke up. Too much is bad.

Not entirely sure what was wrong medically, but essentially he had frozen half his face.
