Not gonna lie, had one of the most fun nights ever playing with 2 guys I'd just met

Me, Dan and Lynford got bored of Chernarus and ended up downlading Panthera to give it a whirl.

I spawned in near an airfield, it was a custom gear spawn server so I had an M9 and map and some stuff from the off, went to check out some military spawns, found nothing of value, saw someone, shot him several times, then got shot by someone else whilst I was bandaging having been hit in the firefight.


Respawned waaaay north of where I first was, ended up getting pretty lucky cause I was fairly close to Lynford, he came to meet me, then Dan suicided and got a spawn just outside the town we were in. Ran to the nearest airfield/military area, decided to go up to a castle ruins thing to scope it out, and Dan ran into someone at the top of a tower. Neither of them shot, but in direct comms typing, this dude told us to go away. So, the three of us waited on the floor below him, he crouched, and with DayZ being so realistic, we shot the shit out of his torso and legs which were poking through the floor Dan took his ACOG, I took his G17 and Dan's Lee Enfield.

Lynford ran downstairs, straight into someone else with a Lee Enfield, and got killed in 2 shots. Me and Dan were on the roof, I looked briefly through a tiny gap in the stairs and managed to get a shot away, he then hit me in the stomach as I was reloading, so I backed off and bandaged and Dan went and sprayed him from point blank. Got a blood bag, looted the mass of bodies (the noise of flies was unbearable), I went to check out the nearby military/air base, found a barracks totally by accident, nothing in them of any particular value but pinched an AKM from a dead guy lying in the doorway (nothing to do with any of us for once), ran back and logged out.


Then had some big funsies with bellypoppers back on our server, no idea what happened to them after I left.

So much more fun in big groups
