Autojoin Chases

Being closest isn't always best, I mean you could be a bit behind and keep vrooming and just never catch up which I've seen a lot, whereas someone up ahead could easily cut them off and catch up easily

Sure but how frustrating is it to not join a chase you're just behind...

At this time I think it's more a question of luck or reaction time than actually being active. I saw some COPs responding to backup, then doing some settings, repairing their cars etc

For 10 years we did not need that and now we need auto join?
That has only something to do with reaction and not with luck..

I suggest that we could also get a command like: !join <username(s)> so that only that the backup call only goes to them. This is for when say people in teamspeak want to have a chase and they call for backup for another person in teamspeak, the way this is done is they normally get told to spam !join, but, this would become hard with suggestions made here.

This is pretty spot on. Not a fan of auto-join, really dislike it. Spamming !join is one thing, it's still one person v another, and all down to who really wants to get in a chase. We can't have it our way all the time, but auto-join is a joke imho.

I feel as though when you use your !join command, it should register everyone who wanted to join, and either pick one person at random within 3 seconds, or choose the closest person within 3 seconds.

That, or just leave it how it is and remove auto-join. Just my 2 pence!
