Quite a cheap answer to be honest. We all do have 'lives outside of LFS', that does not keep you away from organizing an event properly.

This only means less people are attending - because most have probably planned their weekend out already.

Honestly, the event is a good premise, but the time between announcement and event aren't as comfortable as they could be. For comfortable-ness 2 weeks is good, maybe even longer, gives people the opportunity to see if they have plans, if they can work around them, but to also talk to their friends about the event, to drum up more interest.

People might have stuff to do after 2 weeks or a month, so there is no differense imo about the announcement time. If people are interested about these then there just will be more events. Maybe we should concentrate on event rather than the announcement time okay?

i think everyone did... lewis is just saying he would have liked to, but, can't and fatlace is defending you (he is wrong though, if they really want to participate they would say they have put it in their calendar and reserve Saturday night)

Guys we realize that we made the announcement on such short notice, the time of announcement for future events will be much earlier that this, but for this event the date will not change. If you want to join your more that welcome sign up, if you cannot or don't want to that fine. But I can assure you that for any future events the announcement will be much earlier.

Im not defending anyone and how am i wrong? I dont think that there is only one RIGHT way. What im saying was that you cant please everyone no matter what you do... could we all just accept that is on saturday night and keep on living???
