[Implemented] Race track poll

Good afternoon all,

Within the TC team we have recently discussed what we should do with the racetracks on Blackwood and Westhill.


My suggestion is not to abandon the racetrack completely but to have it open/closed every other time it is in rotation.

For example (using dates from track rotation thread)

Race track OPEN to cruisers and chases


Blackwood
26th May 2018
2nd June 2018

Race track RE-OPENED
Blackwood
7th July 2018
14th July 2018

Race track OPEN to cruisers and chases

Weston Park
16th June 2018
23rd June 2018

Race track RE-OPENED

Weston Park
28th July 2018
4th August 2018

With positive feedback to this suggestion internally we have decided to see what the public would like to see, please answer the attached poll.

If most vote yes, we hope to have Blackwood racetrack open again this Friday when blackwood is in rotation.

If it will help with the amount of people on the stunt zone who have no care for sirens and just ram, I'll happily +1 that idea.

Im ok with this but maybe only for blackwood. For westhill not needed because its already much bigger map than blackwood.

I agree with Getrag on this.

In my opinion I think that Blackwood can get quite boring after a while. It would be nice to drive around the track for fun one time and then the next time, drive around the track for racing.

I'd only say its needed on Blackwood, remember Westhill? If I recall correctly racetrack was used very little, even during peak times.

Doing this for Blackwood is better, since even with the Estate extension, it's still pretty small. Westhill is already big enough for chases to happen anywhere.

If this poll goes through, I guess this will be discussed. It'll likely return to the bi-directional layout variant, but at the cost of objects on the other driving roads.

With a grand total of 63 voters 55 of which voted 'yes' to the change giving us 87.30% of total votes. 8 people voted 'no' to the change giving us a small 12.70%.

With it being pretty obvious what the community wants to see, this will be internally discussed fully and will most likely make an appearance at tomorrow's track change.
