Date of Incident: March 22nd, 2023
Time of Incident: 10:04pm UTC+3 at the time of reporting

Description of Incident (Include Timestamps): M#tz proceeded to engage in toxic behavior towards me, even stalking me in chases I wasn't present in and calling me a slur multiple times on multiple occasions.

The name-calling stemmed from back when I entered his team's Discord and they tried (laughably) to make fun of me. Just because I have pronouns in my Discord bio, doesn't mean I will stand for this. When asked about what he did, he proceeded to double down and disrespect me even more.

20:50 - First interaction. I ask Dawn for a pitstop after an unlucky hit and he jumps into my conversation with him. He proceeds to call me the slur after.

29:50 - I start talking to him.

Included below is the MPR and a close timestamp to another instance of when he called me the slur again. He said it in !l a few minutes before it and I reacted in main chat.

Well, the definition of a "ladyboy" is a transgender person or a transvestite, usually from Asia. The problem is the overlap in the definition of the word. Simply put, this is just like how people don't call Black people the n-word. Because it's derogatory.

So, whatever you insist. As long as you don't call me something derogatory.

And also, even if I did something disrespectful to you while i was engaging in banter with a friend, you still don't have the right to escalate this to such a level. It puts you in the wrong.

Where did you read that ladyboy is a derogatory term? I'm interested to know

The word "ladyboy" is used to specifically refer to trans women from Thailand, but the Thai expression for it which it originates from, "kathoey", can refer to trans women, transvestites, and/or feminine-presenting gay men. This is the grey-area I was talking about. It is a blanket term.

When used out of context, it is derogatory because not everyone can be on board with being a "ladyboy", therefore not necessarily a woman.

I am a linguist, and a principle of language is that like an electric current, people will find the most straight-forward way to use language. And in real-life usage, the word "ladyboy" out of context is used alongside other derogatory terms, making it into a derogatory term.

The word "ladyboy", in its current state, is also used to refer to transgender sex workers and that is where the divide is, and what makes it derogatory for other people.

This is my confident etymological explanation.

The fact is I've seen videos there are some trans calling themselves as *ladyboy* and they are fine being call with it, double check your source

I knew you meant something else because you used it while implying that I was "ez", so, because you were already trying to get a rise out of me.

The word itself is N O T offensive, the C O N T E X T in which you used it M A K E S it offensive, this is the most simple way I can phrase it, Thai people even use the word to refer to themselves BUT it can also D O U B L E as a derogatory term when it is OUT of context, for the millionth time now.

Hello,

Metz will be warned for calling you a name you do not agree with. Specific words aside, if someone doesn't like to be called a certain name or label you should respect their preferences. Also take into consideration that while a word may not be offensive in one part of the world, it could be extremely offensive somewhere else.
