That bimmer isn't exactly too stock either
If the model reflected what the car in video is it could be justified to have such handling. |

But I doubt about the car producing 1.5G of lateral force at 200kph (numbers I got on LFS, both with the bimmer V10 and the FZR, on equal wing angles) on street tires. If the IRL car can do it, no problem. |

The downforce/aero of the mod is what makes it so overpowered, and the only way to circumvent that is to impose a restriction.
Assuming the car in the video shared has a stock engine, its only good for 507hp and 300ftlbs of torque which is roughly what this mod makes after the 30% restriction. even with bolt ons added, i don't see it making anymore than 550hp considering that engine is already high strung from the factory. With that mild aero work, it's not putting out GT3 or F1 levels of downforce, but enough of it to keep it stable in high speed cornering. I know some of you think the numbers in the downforce page might be negligible or outright irrelevant, but in practicality, they determine the overall performance of the vehicle. If it made 1/2 of the downforce that it actually does, i wouldn't think a restriction would be needed at all since that mod struggles to put power down effectively in lower speeds, which adds a natural handicap. Not to mention tire life is not that great if you don't manage/nurse them for sustained periods of flat out driving. |

Its not an stock beetle engine, its not an flat engine, its not an N/A engine. Also i agree on taking off the aero, or at least restricting it, but still, that thing on low speeds is scary, too much HP, and barely grips on low speed. High speed is basically aero and nothing else, because short distance between axles, and we know, a tiny bitty move and snaps all around...
