They sound worse because they're usually diesel. W00t

We fix those things at my workplace.

Also, I wouldn't call it very safe since they're only plastic and fiberglass wrapped around this..

I don't even think the insurance is cheap since everyone drives them into lampposts, ditches and other road users.

The only people who drive those are people with a handicap or women who are too bad at driving to get a proper driver's licence.

Most of the moped cars/microcars have atleast a 400cc engine.

I believe Bellier uses 520-550cc Yanmar diesel engines with variator transmission.

Yep. Mine is 550cc

Taking a couple covers off the engine will make it sound cool, but it doesn't match with the speed then Tongue

And I don't see how women who can't drive would buy a microcar really, they need to drive the licence with a scooter (soon with a microcar) to drive one, and microcars actually cost quite alot... Tongue

But the good point is that atm microcars lost their value way slower than normal cars, so if this keeps up for the next year or two I'll get a rather good car for the money I'm selling that with.

Getting a licence for a scooter is really easy to be honest, especially compared to a regular driver's licence.

Well I'm happy that there's going to be a seperate licence for the microcar (after being passenger while my sister was driving, yes, she never drove anything that has 4 wheels)

That's what everyone always says, but all of the microcars I've seen at our garage and elsewhere have been horribly kept. One had burnt insulation under the engine.

It's very true if you have kept yours well, though. Most of them are absolutely raped.
