RE: PC speakers
I have a small cheap 2.1 system for desktop use and works well with games.
It only cost me £24. When i'm gaming, I use my G35's as they're 7.1. I don't have the luxury of banging out loud music or games since next door neighbours have a little kid in the room next to this room. I should probably mention that they're not using onboard sound, but a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium - Fatal1ty Professional Series 7.1. Logitech X-220 You can also see them here in an old desktop photo I have, just so you can get an idea of size. Spoiler (Click to View) |

RE: PC speakers
I got an X-240, but like most PC speakers, it comes with a Subwoofer though.
I've done search of 2.0 speakers on Newegg, I'd say the Creative Gigaworks series will do, or the Logitech Z520. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis...1&name=2.0 |
