As the title says, just curious what is the longest people have every travelled on foot in one go/one day.

I did a 40 mile walk for charity today, and my legs feel like they are on fire (took me 12 hours 33 minutes).

Indeed. Good job on 40miles thats insane. Most i walked is 15miles at once and I felt the same as you. It still felt like i was walking an hour later. Tongue

I have no idea what the longest walking trip is I've done.
However I do know my longest running trip; 5km.

It's not far, but I'm happy with it. Tongue

I don't walk that much, I run.

Longest I ran was about 7 miles can't remember what time i did it in though lol but i remember being dead after it -.-

I walk a lot now I don't have a car on the road, so I walk about 3 miles a day haha

I'd rather if my only walking was from the house to the car..

The longest I've done could be 10-15 miles, I can't remember distances like that since it's been such a long time since I've actually properly walked more than 3 miles. (The one mile trip to my workplace is enough, thank you)

Had a blown tyre on my bycicle, so I had to walk home 20 kms...

I can't remember any further wich I did count.

I did a 28 mile march in full cabbage. (Heavy camoflage, steel toecap heavy boots.)

Wow! Congratulations Street! I've recently been thinking about doing something similar to raise money.

What charity were you raising money for? And were you walking with many others?

That´d be somewhere around 10km´s. Once walked somewhere around 5km´s completely shitfaced home from a party.

We had an annual P.E day at my old school. And in 8th and 9th grade, you could choose whether you'd like to walk or run 16, 21 or 26 kms, I chose to walk the 16 kms, so that's the furthest I've ever walked.

probably 30ish miles with the army cadets @ tough training. started at 7am and finshed at 11pm we were running and walking, getting lifts in jeeps etc
