He was doing really well, he landed it a couple of times and saved an aborted landing when we were sliding down a hill... He was doing really well... Until we crashed



My day... After we got hacked on the public server (up waay NE, found an ATV, new spawn as it was broken), I was inspecting it from one side, moved round to look at the other side and check gear, and I thought it was a hacker instantly, just shot me in the back and killed me instantly, "fixed" the bike, and drove off (didn't even touch me, I had a lot of good stuff). Also totally left Leon alone even though he would have been visible had he walked up to us (I didn't hear a thing, and he wasn't exactly beign sneaky, turned rounda fter the first shot hit me and he was crouched about 10ft away from me in the open.

Respawned at Krutoy Cap, started to run north to get my stuff, got pretty close to Solnichny, then got shot in the back again. At this point I basically knew he was a hacker, cause had he come back down I'd have heard the ATV, if he'd parked ages away and run round behind me he'd had had to run to catch up with me, and the shots came from directly behind (I was in the middle of a clear straight track, constantly checking).

Respawned in Solnichny then went back to try find the body cause the hacker died shortly after killing me and another player, found nothing so for some reason went to Skolisty, found sweet FA so jumped off the top of the red and white tower, respawned in Kamenka, found a ton of pretty sweet shizzle in a doorway including a compass, some gear, then got shot in the back again. CERTAIN by this point he was hacking as I think even Leon had died. I respawned in Kamenka AGAIN, ran to get my stuff, started to run forward, at which point Leon came face to face with the hacker. He gave Leon a golden AK and some other stuff. Leon then shot him (I thought he'd be godmoded). He wasn't, died, the Leon randomly died. At this point we got bored of hackers (I'd had that character since I first started playing DayZ, had built up a decent inventory, and was beginning to learn to use the map to find vehicles (as proved by the ATV, I led me and Leon to it with a compass and the map open in my second screen). Tons of stuff, tons of work, gone.

We went back onto the Bliss hive at this point, where we'd also been hacked and left in a permanently unconscious state. We relogged, to find the timer going down incredibly slowly. Leon died, and tried asking admins to help me, but they did *Removed* all (*Removed*). I died, lost an FN Fal with 120 rounds, more gear, a compass, some tools. Respawned in... KAMENKA! (yaaaay..) Found some semi decent stuff in a doorway including a map (pretty redundant for the most part as I was using my second monitor).
I then began an epic journey.

From Kamenka, to Pavlovo, checking out all the deer stands in between (Found the SMG style secondary and a coupla clips, some random gear, frag grenade, CZ550 and a coupla clips.
Up to Pavlovo, then I sort of skipped the town, went right onto the road down to Komarovo, checked out the bike spawn/HV Barn, then north to the next three deer stands. Found a revolver somewhere along the way, then up north, past Bor, to Drozhino, checked out the HV barn, then west to the other HV barn, the finally north up into Zelenogorsk. Looked for some cars, nothing, got tons of food in the supermarket but not much else of value in there, started running out, checked out a bike spawn, then north to a car spawn/HV barn. On the way I found a pickup truck (like a UAZ but crapper), had decent stuff, but was glitched into another car and couldn't move. Ran north, foudn something int he barn, then up to Sosnovka, checked out the car spawn, lost a lot of blood there to zombies, then ran NE to the HV barn, then set a point on my map, checked out a couple of deer stands, then up to green mountain, found *Removed* all there, back down to the main road between Zelenogorsk and Pogorevka. Found an AKS with some weird laser dot scope triangle thingy, ran north to Pogorevka, checked out the deer stands east of there (noticing a pattern? Good loot in deer stands for newbies, usually easy to sneak into without zombies noticing). North to rogovo, then went east on the road that forks to Stary and Nadezinho, carried straight on, then set a way point just below Vyshnoye to try and meet Leon. He found a chopper at this point, started flying over towards Vyshnoye when he realised where to go. I was running to the water pump bit south when I came across a crash site. Saw it over the brow of a hill, and as I got closer, saw two trucks parked up and a gang of about 3 loading them up. (might have been 4). Snuck up close, and direct comm'd them, totally freaked them all out, they were all like "where the *Removed* are you dude? Are you lying down in some grass?" Told them I wouldn't shoot (there were more of them than there were of me), let them leave. I think one of them saw me as they were leaving but didn't shoot me. Leon then landed next to the crash site when it was safe, I grabbed an FN Fal and we ran. Went north to just outside Novy, found another one, I grabbed more rounds, then east to solnichny, wanted to land to find some parts but it was crawling with players wanting rides so we said *Removed* it, flew waaay north along the coast to try find a place to park it for the night, tried to park it NW of Krasnostav, Leon crashed it, I lost my second FN Fal of the way on the same server with about 100 rounds, along with tons of other shit, and I went for a shower.


Basically, I ran for 2 hours, found a ton of good stuff by using my intuition, maps, stayed out of trouble, borderline held a coupla guys up at the first crash site (I had a headshot lined up on one guy and enough ammo to totally *Removed* up both trucks), got some decent stuff, guided Leon around everywhere (he of course found cars the lucky *Removed*), and then had about 10 minutes flying (first time ever), and crashed.

Huh, somebody stole our Military Offroad with all our shit in it, but left an S1203 with even better loot (lol). So I went to hide it somewhere different, but as I went to save it, I died randomly. Hackers played with the server for the next half hour, until I got hacker killed for the 3d time. Then I called it a day.

We now have a server- 173.192.200.76:2532, or search 'Sinoco'. I'm currently working on a script that spawns in more vehicles, as that isn't as simple as a click of a button suddenly. I'm hoping to get ~100 vehicles and ~5 choppers on the server as everybody loves vehicles, up for debate though. We have a few players who have come on and played about, one even got the chopper at Skalisty Island.

Sadly I can't play because Steam sucks.

EDIT: 4 people online, and none of us are on, IT'S A HIT! Bwahahahahahaha.

Well I started playing again. Found a castle in the middle of nowhere and got a map! woo.

Found a ghillie suit, Czech Backpack, map, watch, hunting knife, binoculars, shotgun, pistol and enough food/drink to last a week! Only thing I need is a sniper or some sort of machine gun.

Funniest thing happened today. Leon and I chased another helicopter 100km off the map before deciding to leave him be and turn around (almost out of ammo and tired of him), plus our server is ranked in the 93d percentile now (top 7% of all servers)

On Saturday the 10th i took part in an event on a whitelisted server. The admin is a friend of some of the DayZ livestreamers i follow, and a few of them were there playing bandits holed up in the Polana factory and every player could come and kill them and get the loot.
