RE: Simple Math Problem.
It was just embarrassed by the stupidity in class. It was a part of the physics intro. Glad to see these people are going to be designing stuff lol.
It has nothing to do with Facebook I didn't even know those existed. Sorry about that gents. Happy you guys proved the odds wrong. How many math courses do you guys take? Even thought we take 13 years required people still get this wrong. |

RE: Simple Math Problem.
Let's see, nine years in elementary school, 32x38=1216 math lessons (one lesson would be about 45 minutes long).
And then it kinda depends on where you go after that, and what you choose... In gymnasium there's atleast 10 maths courses and then some additional ones after that too... |

RE: Simple Math Problem.
I started in 1st grade in elementary school, until 9th grade, then one year on 10th grade, and currently on my 1st year of two in gymnasium, then I'll be done with maths.
So I've got to have 800 lessons of maths just during these two years in gymnasium, and probably an average of 16 lessons (45 minutes) a month during 1st through 10th grade. So 16*12 = 192 lessons (45 minutes) a year. So 192 * 10 = 1920 lessons in elementary school. Then add another 800 lessons (45 minutes) in the gymnasium over two years, and this gives us 2720 lessons of 45 minutes of maths in the past 12 years of my life.. Hopefully no more maths after this. |

RE: Simple Math Problem.
If you did mathematics at school and didn't learn about order of operations, you obviously failed it.
Brackets > Indicies > Division > Multiplication > Addition > Subtraction The answer is 1. |

RE: Simple Math Problem.
BIDMAS is the acronym taught when I was in school, 3 years ago, for the order of doing things.
So Multipication comes before Addition ; therefore, 1+(1x0) -> 1+0 = 1. I stopped reading the replies once there was an attempt of trolling, and typed my own response. However, as read above it's been solved |
