2 Weeks ago the message ''host did not receive udp packet'' showed up, people told me just to wait, but my patience is running out Wink

Anyone have a solution or an idea what I could do about this!?

What I did try:
- Restart al the router and modem.
- Checked my firewall but I aparently don't have one.. So that's not the problem.
- Reinstalled the game motible times.

Nothing worked. I NEED YOUR HELP!

Classic. You cant do anything but waiting. Well, shouldn't take 2 weeks tho.

Well, you can try unplugging your internet router for half an hour, or overnight.

Hm thought it would've fixed itself by now, NB was having the same problem but he was able to connect sometime last week and has been ever since.

As you're having a new IP now but still having the problem, I begin thinking the problem is somewhere on your end.

I'm from The Netherlands too.

Started experiencing this problem today.

Apparently in "Conn List" I'm lagging , but i see everyone moving. I'm not sure what's going on...

While lagging in TC , i made this Ping test to another dedicated hosted in OVH.

So i dont understand why i'm lagging in TC.

If you see your name and your UPD in red, I don't know what that is meant to mean, BUT if you are moving but all the other cars are not, that means that you are lagging.

I think you'll find it means that LFS is using TCP for car updates instead of UDP.

I'm also from the Netherlands and posted a topic like this a few weeks ago. Do you guys have KPN as your ISP?
Sometimes I have to connect 20 times before I get in, really annoying.. Sad

I've seen you yesterday. No lag at all. Also bear in mind that occasional background updates can always cause temporary lags like game updates on Steam, Windows updates or even if its just the Antivirus prog pulling an update. Someone else on a shared internet connection may easily interfere too.

I think we narrowed you case down to your local connection losing too many packets.

Hello Chuck,

It wasnt lagg just the conn list said 5.0 in red and everyone was still moving. Also in the server list TC was the only one which didnt appear.

Never happend this; so lets see if its solved today.

Sounds rediculous but have you tried ringing your ISP and see if they have any suggestions?
